My Story

Hey, I’m April— or SGT Blickhan if we’re sticking to Army titles. With 8 years of service under my belt, from working in aviation to been stationed overseas I've had the opportunity to travel the world and expericence culture(s), I’ve faced the highs and lows of military life. But in 2021, I hit my lowest point, questioning my future and feeling broken. Instead of giving up, I reclassified, became a respiratory therapist, and rediscovered my strength.


But even with that shift, I found myself burned out—constantly working 12-hour shifts, leaving my dog-Wrigley, behind, and feeling unfulfilled. That’s when I came across digital marketing. It became my solution to gain back control over my time and build something meaningful while still serving on active duty.
